‘I live in the American Gardens Building on W. 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.’

As you can see, and as far as I know, this blog is not doing anything for me or anyone out there who reads it. So here I bid adieu to you all. I’ll come up with something nice and clever in the future.

i wrote an entry about having no desire to draw awhile ago.
things haven’t changed.
i’m working with collage these days – with found objects and cut out images from anywhere.
few weeks ago i finished a parodised replica of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus in black and white;
it was for a band from france called Venus Fly Trap One Girl Band;
the a3 piece comments on feminism and capitalism.
this week i have been working on an a2 piece for city of Fremantle.

weather is starting to cool down.
i can’t wait for winter to approach -

there is something potently fruitful about
slightly less full-grown adolescent boys.

quality, interest, engagement, curiosty -
taste stale to the mouth.

fun whispers ‘why bother? don’t jinx it!’

it seems as though some people find art in calling bullshit art.
it’s all contradictions and catch 22.

i’m afraid the show was rather average.

i still like their music though -

a. improve skateboarding tricks

b. send more letters

c. write a song for someone

d. brave out a confession

e. finish making the picture book

f. catch cockroaches without fear

we will stay good.
